About Us
We focus mainly on the upliftment of high school learners in Townships and other disadvantaged communities. Found and run by youngsters themselves, Edulight is driven by the burning desire to see a young person from Kasi thriving. Our primary service is tutoring, enlightening learners on their studies so that they leave high school with outshining results that will secure them space for more opportunities going forth. Furthermore, we want them to succeed not only in high school but also in other environments in life. Hence we also offer more services that are non-academic. We enlighten learners, we groom young achievers. But most importantly, WE ARE THE LIGHT WE WANT TO SEE💡

Sylvester Sedibane
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Sylvester Sedibane is a 3rd year Entrepreneurship student at Tshwane University of Technology and a Marketing Director of GAP Connect. He is a social entrepreneur and a business development specialist. He serves at The Mamelodi Initiative (an NPO based in Mamelodi) as a volunteer leader, where he is involved in planning and coordinating programs. He recently was a program director of Summer Jam 2020, of The Mamelodi Initiative. Sylvester possesses mentorship skills and leadership qualities, including knowledge in organizational operations and marketing. He is passionate about social development and helping others advance in life.
